Hi,
Will it be correct to say - please send the letter or whatever it can be via DHL or 'by'' should be used?

Yes, either is correct. 'Via' means 'by way of'.

You can use them both it seems. I would use via because that sounds classy and should earn a little reputation for you.

I think "by" would be better. "Via" is certainly correct and has more elegance, but I think it might sound a bit stilted to the modern American ear.

Either is fine, via would be my preference.

I use "via" as often as possible.....its a good word
