A very honorable movie. I liked it, considering I usually can't stand Tom Cruise.

Look, ok, Tom Cruise is freaking psycho. However, he did a very good job in this movie. I'd have to say that Last Samurai is probably one of my all-time favorite movies!

IT was pretty good until the ending, isnt it funny how Tom is the last Samurai lucky enough to avoid Gatling guns?

I can't bring myself to watch it because Tom Cruise is in it and he sickens me. It sounds like a good story-line though, too bad it wasn't cast better.

I rather enjoyed it. But I think it would have been even better if someone else was cast in Tom Cruise's role.

Thought it was OK a wee bit over sentimental perhaps and battle scenes were only so so

otherwise, not a terrible movie.

its better than "crouching tiger hidden dragon" and not as good as " hero".
