I have just bought a Silver S reg VW polo 1.4 16v 3 door alloy's etc (as dad calls it, baby golf) lol. Its a lovely car inside and out, well looked after, it has all the extras. It has really light tinted back windows, but I want to do a little something else to snaz it up but I don't want to look cheap & nasty like a sad girl racer! as Im not, I just want it to look a little different... what do you suggest I could do to it? no silly answers I no what some of you are like xx

I would keep it simple and get it valeted and power polished up.

A clean car always looks better, and makes you feel better about driving it.

If you had money to throw at it get a garage for it.

A simple spoiler can make the biggest difference and a good professional valet. Maybe a set of alloys too but if it already has alloys just give them a really good polish and make sure their kept clean and free of brake dust.

nice wheels can make any car look good. try wheelbasedirect.co.uk for cheap deals on alloys with tyres.
17inch will make your polo look snazzy and cool. choice of alloys is the key to cool, maybe chrome?
lowering the car about an inch or two is about £150 and makes your car look cool. replace exhaust with a chrome set.

different grill?
body kit is expensive but will cost £1000.

You could put nice alloys on wheels, maybe a spoiler on the rear, or some different lights......remember when you make modifications to a vehicle you have to inform your car insurance and you may have to pay a higher premium.

Have all the badges removed, lower it, nice rims, a 16 inch multispoke should do the job, no spoiler though, it'll look stupid on its own. Also, if the rubstrips are black plastic, have them matched to the car. Oh, and by the way, chromes would look cack on a silver car.

Have the interior re-trimmed in leather. Would cost about a grand to get a really professional custom job done to your specification, but a leather interior is the mutt's nuts if you want a really classy car.

Definitely some new alloys, large rims + low profile tyres!

Just get some great alloys - there are reasonably cheap and are the classiest way of tarting up your motor...

Change head lamps, rims and may be a spoiler.
