Too much! Anything from £5-12 depending on the cinema's location and the type of seat you go for (there are a few cinemas with "deluxe" screens)

It depends on where you are and the cinema and the day of the week - in London you go for as little as £3.50, mid-week at smaller cinemas, or as much as £12 for the larger ones in the centre of town (where premiers are held). Many do mid-week two for one offers (much like the Orange mobile phone promotion where you text FILM to 241 to get 2 tickets for the price of one!)

I guess it depends where you go.

In Exeter it's around £6.50. I'm a member at our small independent cinemal (cost me £25 for a year) but I do get £1.50 off each ticket. That means on a Monday I can go to the movies for £3.50 as it's their special offer day. I also get free screenings exclusively for member so I well pay off my membership fee over the year.
Have a look around and see what is on special offer.

In Kent it costs £7 to go to the Cinema, if you go on a Bargain Tuesday then its £3.50 before 6pm. It is such a rip off.

Usually about £4-5 is the norm, depending on the area of course-imagine London will be more. Also, if you happen to be with Orange for your mobile phone, they do buy one get one free on Wednesday evenings!
