Go to a grocery store, post office or a store that does Western Union and ask them for a money order in the dollar amount that you need. There will be a charge for the money order - usually under $2.00. Once you have the money order you will see that it has two parts to it. One part is used to pay whatever it is you needed the MO for and the other part is your receipt. Don't lose that receipt part. Fill out the money order to the person or business that you want to pay and sign it. Deliver the money order or pop it in the mail. Keep the receipt for at least a few months to insure that the transaction went through fine. Without the receipt you will have no proof that you purchased the MO if it is disputed.
