I would forget him - if he is willing to sleep with your best friend, he isn't the sort of lad you have a future with.
Go out with your mates (the ones that don't sleep with ex's) and have fun! Take it easy for a bit.

Girlfriend he has to know the difference between you and your best mate...that was no accident. What was she thinking? He might love you, but do you want a guy that spreads his love? In the world of AIDS and VD...you want someone that you can call your own. You don't want to have to worry every time he goes out alone (or you call him and he doesn't answer) to think he is with an other woman. But I will tell you (from someone that was cheated on) if you stay with him it is best to forgive and forget. It will be fighting material till the day you die if you don't.

See i think it depends on how much you 'love' him! If it was an honest mistake then maybe he deserves a 2nd chance. People can change their attitudes and change the kinda person they are. Talk to him and ask him why, if he is willing to explain all and really really want to be with you and never consider doing this again then give him another chance but if he isnt then just forget about him!!

He had SEX with your best friend and you are still wondering what to do - I bet he had wanted to get with your friend since the beginning. He has had his fun and now he is ready to go back to the safe option. Take him back and you deserve everything that he WILL throw at you in the future. Find a new man and get yourself a better quality of friend.

It was over the moment he cheated on you...with your best friend no less...like he didn't think you would ever find out? You should move on...and consider the sort of best mates you have that would sleep with your boyfriend.

Firstly i'd be concerned about two things:-
1. The fact that he slept with someone else so soon
2. The fact that your 'best mate' as you called her would sleep with one of your boyfriends.
I think, you need get rid of both of them from your life. I wouldn't call someone who sleeps with your partners or ex-partners 'best mates' . I wouldn't even call them 'mates' for that matter.

The saying is true once a cheat always a cheat! Tell him politely that the relationship is over and tell him not to call you. As for your friend, your better off without her too, friends don’t do that with each others boyfriends.

sleeping with somebody else is absolutely the most hurtful thing a person can do in a relationship. This is something i would never do to my girlfriend so i think i deserve the same respect back. If it happened once most likely it will happen again. I wouldn't take him back, you deserve someone who respects you.

you'd split up, what he does from then is none of your business....i would dump your best mate, and get back with your fella, its your best mate in the wrong here, she just swooped on him when he was down...dump her!...people always have sex when they split up with ppl, it helps you get over things, but your best mate shouldn't have done it.......unless, of course, he was only going out with you to get to your best friend, then you have a whole other problem
