Mine was my fisher price cradle swing, it rocks my baby to sleep in a matter of minutes. He goes from a screaming nightmare to an angel in no time! I'd love to hear about other mothers best buys that have saved their sanity, or just made your life that much easier.

Believe it or not, it's my "The First Years Fold & Go Auto Diapering Station" that I bought from Target. This thing has been great to me. When taking the baby into public restrooms, I don't need to lug the whole diaper bag with me, only this "diaper station" which holds all my diapering needs (wipes, diapers, and a tube of diaper cream). I tell all my pregnant girlfriends that it's been such a wonderful buy for me.

I agree on the fisher price cradel swing.

Also, the Fisher Price Ocean Wonders Aquarium that attaches to the crib. My daughter fell asleep so peacefully to that in her crib and when she would wake up shed want to play with it instead of screaming to get out right away. Got me some extra sleep and her as well.

Great question!

This is such a boring buy - but his changing table! When first born I was using a change mat on the lounge floor. The lounge continually seemed to be strewn with nappies, wipes, sleepsuits etc and made me feel as scatty as my front room looked. I then bought I change table which went into his nursery and kept everything out of the lounge, clean, and tidy. It was also alot easier to change lil' man at table height. I was scared @ 1st that he'd fall off - I now realise for the sake nof my back / legs etc - change him on a table! As I said - not the most interesting buy - but certainly returned my sanity!

My least useful buys..... A triangular breast feeding pillow - lil man never seemed comfy - I could never get comfy and I think we used it once. Also, top and tail bowl - never used it - he either has a bath, or we wash his face, hands using a sink!

I love the pack n plays. I have 2 of them. It is great we travel a lot and I leave one set up in my living room and I have everthing I have in the babies room pretty much right in my living room. No matter where I go I have another one packed up and ready to go. When we go to travel over night I don't have to worry about her being uncomfortable because I have everything. I don't have to use someone's bed to change the baby I can do it right on the pack'n'play. Maybe when things aren't so hectic it won't be as great for traveling. But for now we seem to be gone almost every weekend visiting friends and family in NY. I love my Pack'n'Plays

I couldn't live without the Fisher Price Rocker that vibrates. It's the only way my son will take a nap or go to sleep at night.

I would have to say the BABY VAC.......it's the best investment out there.......

It's not a regular aspirator (which don't work anyway)
It's used in the hospitals and recommended by pediatricians
It will prevent ear or sinus infections if they have colds.
because they can't blow their noses till at least 2 or 3 years old!

really helps and makes my daughter feel so much better....
and her colds don't last as long.....

I highly recommend this!!

Or if there are any baby/toddler shows that's where I purchased mine.

Mine is my sling, which makes it possible for me to keep my baby on me, asleep or awake, while I shop or do other things. He loves it and it keeps him content when he wouldn't be happy in a stroller or a swing.

A bottle of mineral water. My baby loves shaking it when it's almost empty and looking at the bubbles.

similar to yours... her leap frog vibrating baby chair. i loved that i could take it in the bathroom so i could shower and she would be safe and entertained, or in the kitchen so i could cook, or when we were going to someone elses place and needed a place to sit and feed her, or let her play or nap. it was soooo nice!
