I used Liquid-to-Powder Elizabeth Arden for Full Coverage. I have olive skin that scars easily so I have a few dark spots I like to cover-up. Powder doesn't work for me because my skin is naturally dry and liquid always seems to melt off. What's best on your skin?

i also use liquid to powder and then cover it with a bit of powder (MAC) to get even coverage. I dont use liquid because it makes me break-out and powder on its own doesnt really hide my darker blemishes (i have same skin as you).
But i have found a product the other day that is like my mirical product now to cover dark bits, like blemishes and under my eyes. Its called a yellow corrector, it looks like lipstick but yellow and you put it on the dark bits and when you cover it with the foundation and powder you cannot see the dark bits AT ALL, its amazing.

I have naturally oily skin so i find that powder foundation is the only thing i can use. The liquid ones are usually oil-based and they end up leaving zits behind. Also, i live in a very hot area and it seems to melt off my face and if i'm wearing a white top, it ends up getting stained brown. The problem i have with powder is that it doesn't cover as well as the liquid does. So what i'm on the look out for is a TRULY oil-free and melt-free liquid foundation. Almost impossible to find but they really should think about it.

Just sharing my personal opinion. I find that 2-way foundation works the best for me. I like the ease of application. Liquid foundation can make skin look really great but I have combination skin and my t-zone will get oily too soon.

I prefer a liquid, powder makes my skin dryer and look older. The big thing out there now is a primer that you put on before make-up and it makes your liquid stay on longer. I'm not sure if it's in the stores but the only one I can think of right now is made by Laura Geller. You can go on-line under her name or they have it on QVC. It's her #1 seller they say.

try buying 2- way foundations. Powder wont melt but does not give enough coverage. So I suggest you wet the sponge before applying. If its not enough use concealers. refrain from using liquid foundation because it causes your impurities to darken.

I wuld recomend mineral powder makeup. It is pure and good for your skin and has superior coverage without looking mask-like. If you get the right brand. So not try the most expensive ones for they usually charge for advertising. Try everyday minerals, or zarafet minerals off ebay..or any other breand off ebay with good feedback. Bismuth and cornstarch and talc are ingredients that cause irritation though so try to steer clear of them.

I use Chanel 2 way foundation and also L'oreal Super blendable make-up, both work well for me. After putting on your foundation, wait 5 minutes then put on the powder.

Try mineral makeup. It is light but covers spots really well. It is made from natural ingredients so is good for your skin.

puritycosmetics.co.uk is a good brand.
