I have a normal discharge in my knickers but an internal white vaginal discharge. I have no itching or burning but would have a white coating on my finger if I insert it into my vagina. My partner does not have thrush. The amount of discharge varies throughout the month. Please help as this is permanent. Do i have thrush or is this normal?

Isn't thrush when it's in the mouth and candida in the vagina. I also don't understand how you can have normal discharge in your knickers and white inside. Your discharge should vary throughout the month. Is your discharge clear when you ovulate, if so you're probably okay. If it's white when you ovulate, it could be candida. I think whitish/opaque discharge other than during ovulation is normal.

I think it's probably normal... different people have differnt natural cycles and so long as the discharge doesn't smell really foul or takes a browny/greeny/yellowy tinge then you should be ok!

Chances are (this may sound revolting) you're in a little bit of a state of arousal at times (we all day dream.... it happens to all of us!) which lubricates you a bit more than normal! But this is perfectly fine!

However if you're still worried go to your GP or GUM clinic!!

Good Luck!

You have thrush. Take Diflucan. From your pharmacy. No prescription necessary. just one pill. You take it orally. With water.
