Connection
1 Start > Control Panel > Network Connection
see if you aerial is installed it will say "Wireless Network Connection" and make sure it is "enabled", if not right click and "enable"

2. When your modem is on you should see the power light, a dsl light and a wireless light, the last 2 may be flashing.

3. Hopefully you will have the instruction book for your router which will tell you how to connect to it and set up it's internet connection. You will need your username and password as supplied by your internet provider, apart from that most modern modems are easy and quick to set up.

go into network connections and select the network.

you have to have broadband with a wireless router in your home though.
