To represent an idea is to speak about an idea that someone else has had, to make an idea is to have the idea yourself.

if you represent an idea in a new way then you made the idea but if you are only presenting it then that is all you are doing

due to your ; perception..consider,,that you expressed 'an' idea ,say through ; a drawinig or a song ect. then in doing so, you would be making an idea 'expressed' through a drawing or song extra...no , yes , perhaps .?.?.?.?.? making a drawing that represented an idea , even if the 'idea' where during or after ; even subconsious , in the drawing stage"it" would still exist.. IE."it" being the 'idea'
