When some says he has some thing in mind or heart, is it really in the mind or in the brain?

It's in his brain - that's where all thought processes occur. The mind is another word for consciousness, or awareness and perception, the soul is that non-physical aspect of a person which many believe exists independently of the body and survives after death, the brain and heart are physical organs.

Mind has no location. it is the subtle power which creates thoughts in the brain. The six emotions which activate a person are provoked into action by the subtle mind.It is actually the consciousness of the individual. Soul is the power that makes a thing alive. It is the power which is covered by 5 sheaths of subtle consciousness and it escapes the body at the appointed time along with two non physical bodies along with karmic qualities to enter another physical form.Heart and Brain are physical things which are dead when the soul leaves the body along with the consciousness.Only when the soul is reestablished in another body the consciousness awakens activating the brain and heart.

The mind is like the operating system of a computer. The brain is like the hardware of the computer. So, the mind is located in every cell of the body. The heart, soul , mind are all like software of the body. The brain is hardware of the body. If you want to access the software you can do so by accessing the chakra systems

Mind is not located in the Physical body. It is not physical. It has spread all over the universe. For a good example we can say as Server. The main server is located in one place and for internet connection they give SOME space for each connection. Like that we took SOME space in the universe. Today s my thought may become yours tomorrow s thought. So like that the thought will go here and there like air. For example today i will make a thought of built a school and drop that ideal. That though goes to a person who is thinking to built a School.

The functions of your mind are located in your brain while the function of the heart is to pump blood. These are definable and real. The soul is something else and I have no idea. Perhaps it exists but who knows?

Mind is located in every cell or every atom of our bodies or, in fact, any matter. Brain is the seat of mind where it seems to be concentrated due to the fact that we have a large number of neurons there. Since matter is 99.99999+ void, mind does not exist in the void. But, soul exists everywhere including the void!

mind is not a thing that has need place . we say when external reality reflects into our brain , our mind is formed. heart is only a center that pumps blood into our body and have no relationship with therse categories. brain is center of our nervous system. soul , thought , conscipusness are equevalent at the point view of phylosophy.

Mind is located everywhere in the body and not particular place. Mind is exactly like electricity. Can you make electricity without a generator? Even if you have a generator, can you make electricity without fuel to power the generator? It is exactly like that.

My body is 35, feels like 45 but yet only 35! My mind is still early 20's, mentally & physically I think that's where my mind will always be!
