according to my doctor, false positives are pretty much impossible. you can get a false negative if there isnt enough of the pregnancy hormone in you yet, but to test positive, you have to have the pregnancy hormone in you, and you ONLY have it if you are in fact pregnant. I'm pretty sure that the only way that you would end up getting a negative from your doctor is if you had a very early miscarriage between the test you took, and the one from the doc, and didnt know it. But, I think its safe to say CONGRATULATIONS!!!! While some women dont become fertile again for a while after depo, it varies from woman to woman. 4 of my friends got pregnant while ON depo shots, and 2 others got prego right after getting off of it. My best friend has twins AND triplets, only 2 years apart, conceived while she was on depo.

Birth control often times comes up on preg. tests as positive. There's some type of hormone in it, that also becomes stronger in your body when you're pregnant.
No matter how long you take the Depo, it usually takes close to a year before you can get pregnant again.
Then again, people also (rarely) get pregnant on BC, even Depo.
I'd go get a blood test to make sure, because if it is positive, your baby could be in danger.

While I would say yes you are pregnant, you can get false positives. The timing is right for you to have Depo out of your system and actually be pregnant.
To the people that said no false positives____ WE see them all the time. They are more uncommon than false negatives, but they happen.
