I have abnormal work shifts, so I quite often have days off in the week, and regularly go to the cinema during the day. I really enjoy it - it's great having the whole place virtually empty. Having said that, for blockbuster type films, it is good to go on a packed Friday night to get the full-on experience!

I'm a Nurse so I work most weekends and evenings, But the new Big films that come out are great to watch on a weekday when I'm on a day off, because there are normally about 2 or 3 people there and no lines.

I often visit the Cinema during the day. Its the best time, you have it all to yourself and a few others. It feels like you've bunked off school also!

I wish I could see more movies during the day because all of the *** hats come out to see them at night and really make me question the $9 it costs for the ticket plus the $10 in snacks for an experience which includes a bunch of retards playing tetris on their cell phones, smelling like axe, eating candy like a cow chews its cud, raping their girlfriend and generally being a douche bag.

I'm lucky that I can arrange my working time around doind such things. I've been to the cinema plenty of times when I've been the only one in there, and to be honest, I prefer it. No-one talking or chomping their way through food, nor my biggest bugbear, people who laugh out loud when they think something is funny even when it isn't just because they think they should be.

most people have to get the shopping etc done before the working day ends whereas, the cinema is open all day and night :)
