I agree with Karen D. Chinese people are very pleasant people, they do not try to change other people's "worlds" like the Muslims do, and are hard working. They are probably too strict with their children, with the "No TV" rules whilst they are studying and they probably protect them too much by keeping them indoors until they marry or at least "graduate". But they do not offend their neighbour and are generally quite, hard-working indivuals who are thankful for the opportunities they get in this country.
GOOD ON YOU CHINA !!!!!
P.S. And Chinese girls are very lovely.........(Aw, shucks). :-)

Why do you think this? Being a 4th generation Aussie, I have found Chinese people to be fair, generous, caring, kind and extremely polite. My only worry is that the friends I have are over cautious with their kids.
If you feel looked down upon you are not associating with the right people.

its not the chinese looked down upon. it is the chinese government for the atrocities they do to their own people. i dont know much about the Falun gong. but people haev been sent to prison for this. or simply disappear. the chinese people i love. but the government sucks. they dont treat their people with any regard for human life..

on the other hand people admire there economic boom and its recent steps into the space race
you'd think they could make it a little easier on the peasant's and lower classes

I do not think they are. The working people do not like that they work for little and so take away their work and standard of living but that is the big corporations who use people and exploit people every where. Wish you would charge them more for your labor.

muslims are now being looked down upon. you are lukcy that you are not a muslim. to be a muslim is a death sentence these days. it is a fashionable in the western world to be a muslim basher. if you are not then they look at you with suspicion

i've got faith the present consensus of opinion is that Africa is the birthplace of the species that grew to become cutting-part people. i'm no longer likely valuable what you propose by way of looking fossils in chimpanzees.
