pogo stick? From around the 30th week through the 40th, impatience is a major issue. Hang in there. It won't be much longer, but it will be in the baby's time.

Loads of old wives tales I'm sure you know about (hot curries, bumpy car journey, long walks, sex!!...all to be done with caution just in case). You could ask about having a membrane sweep - this pushes things along a bit more naturally that's if your bodies going the right way anyway. Its a bit uncomfortable but works for some. Good luck, in the meantime, sleep lots, get your hair done and just rest for the big day.

Apparently, eating pineapple or spicy curries will bring on labour, as well as having sex.

Having said that, you are still 2 weeks off the mark, and it's unlikely that you will go into labour for at least that long. I know it gets frustrating and tiresome around the last couple months, but be patient! You are at the last hurdle, and soon you'll be able to enjoy your baby :)

I think it's just best to wait and let things happen as they will. Your baby will come when the time is right and your body is ready. Some of the suggestions you might get to start labor could be harmful or at the least uncomfortable. Your Dr. will induce you if he/she thinks you are too far past your due date, but at this point you are not. Good Luck and Congratulations.

First of all if you want a healthy baby let it cook in the oven until its done. This will help make sure the child develops correctly and fully

well with my last baby i had to beg my midwife to induce me cuz i just couldn't take it any more..couldn't eat sleep..or even function for that matter ..so if you really need to tall you doctor that you just need to have you baby because of you . (and whats going on with you). if not hold off until the baby is ready...take advantage of beaing able to sleep in and haveing someone wait one you ( if you get that ). cuz after the baby is born it "asll about baby" after that. i hope you have a healthy babay and safe selivery no matter what. hope i helped you a lil.

Having sex greatly increases the chance of labor, but I would reccomend letting it happen with time. It would be a lot safer, for the baby.

I have never tried it but I have heard that having sex can trigger off labour when you are due.
