From about 4 months. Both mine started kicking at 4 months but its so soft and gentle that you miss it the first couple of times. It feels like butterflies in your stomach that you get when you're nervous but once you identify whats happening it just gets better!!!

If it's your first pregnancy, it will take longer to feel the kicks. I was 22 weeks or so along before I felt anything, and 33 weeks before I felt it with any regularity. Some women say they can feel it as early as 16 weeks, but the "average" is between 18 and 22 weeks, if I remember right. What I felt was like the sensation you get if you start to blow a baloon and the air rushes back in your mouth, filling your cheeks instead. My baby liked to face backwards, which is why it took so long for me to feel him... He was hiding...

I`ve some friends who think they could feel kicks at 3mths, but in my experience I did`nt feel many all the way through, when I did though, it was like passing wind - a sort of bubble in the tummy. It was more like 6mths by the time I really felt them kicks for sure. My baby was in a strange posistion though, so that may have been a factor .

I was 16 weeks with all three of mine, my husband could feel them kick at 20 weeks. When you are busy you may not feel your baby kicking just relax, anytime up to about 24 weeks don't panick. It may also be your babys feet are in your back so you wont feel the kicks just get abit of back ache.
If you are really worried go see your doctor x

Anywhere from 4 months on, the further you get along the more you will be able to feel the baby kick.

I would say that in the next 4 weeks or so you should start to feel something. It's difficult with first pregnancies 'cos it's hard to describe what your trying to feel for but it may happen a couple of times without you realising thats whats actually happening - its the best feeling though. Good luck.

Most babies don't start kicking until the 5th month of a pregnancy. The baby will not kick early if it is your 1st. If you're worried ask your doctor.

If it's your first pregnancy it can be 20-24 before you feel movement on a regular basis. I started feeling bubbles bursting around 23 weeks. I know bursting bubbles doesn't make sense but when it happens you'll know exactly what I'm talking about.
