I am actually from the UK and the stats here show that 1 in every 3 girls have to go through this.

So it seemms likely that yes it is true.

I have also been in contact with a lot of mental health services and yes it is such a common problem.

Bad news i know but it is a real problem

It is as American as Mom, apple pie, & lynching.

Consider the child and spousal abuse of the enslaved Humans. There are reports of a man fathering a child from his woman slave, the daughter, grand-daughter, and great- grand-daughter.

USAmerican morals are by no means monolithic. Some Humans in America excell in being decent and some in being indecent. Molestation is a form of bullying. Bullying is an infection in the system and the USAmerican mentality. How else would they have been able to war against Humans who were peaceful & hospitable and take their land to accquire the remaining 37 states.

The mentality is demonstrated with every violent act that we witness directly, in fiction or in the news. The mentality of the man that 'bullied' the Amish children and killed some of them is explained by a psychologist on "Good Morning America," as one pretending to be the good man that he was not. USAmerican notion of an apology is "get over it, that was in the past."

Maturity of an individual or a collective is reflective of the responsibility with regard to correcting ones irresponsible activity, and not seeking to blame another, particularlly the victim, for ones misdeeds.

We have become a materialistic society. We have taken the ten commandments out of our schools. In the early 1900's the Bible was used to teach children to read. It is not only molestation that's on the rise but all sorts of other evils, such as children trapped into prostitution, drugs, rape, you name it. We are no longer one nation under God. We kicked Him out of our schools and public arena.
