WHAT A POLITE KID
I have never stayed overnight at anyone's house, so I don't know. I do know that I would prefer my guests to flush in both situations. The noise would not bother me, but the smell sure would. I guess you could stalk your host by running to the bathroom after they leave and then following their lead.

I feel just the same I always worry about it. I think the best thing is to flush as I would rather someone complained about the noise rather than about my wee or poo being left in their toilet! If you always shut the toilet door and put the seat of the toilet down before you flush that will contain the noise a bit. If someone does mention the noise in the morning just say "Oh would you prefer I didn't flush?" and then leave it at that. Sometimes you have to risk a bit of embarressment, horrible I know.

just flush....i am sure the people who own the place flush at night and dont wake people...it would be a little embarrassing if you didnt flush and the next day someone went into the bathroom and saw a floater staring back at them, put the lid down so it does not make too much of a noise...so yes flush and go...lol....if they wake it will be for a split second...they will go back to sleep again

You could ask before you go to bed! But if they are uptight or older people, dont ask, just flush! and then if they dont like it they can ask you not to. At home we dont flush at night for a pee cos we dont want to wake others up - and one way of saving water.

Flush! I know what you mean, but they have to be light sleepers if it wakes them, anyway, id much rather be woken up by a flush than faced with stale wee when i went to the bathroom in the morning!

Alright well look at it this way. Would they be more upset to be woken up by a flushing toilet or waking up to dookie in the morning.Not a good start for the day.

Most folks don't wake up when you flush! If they have a problem they should let you know, other wise it is proper to flush after each use!

Both I would say coz you dont wont the house owner waking up and the toilet smells of pee pr poo lol

If there is a private bathroom in the bedroom that you are staying in then do as you see fit. If it is common bathroom- wake the up! I would think more of the person who flushed my toilet and woke me up that I would of the person who didn't.

i also worry about waking people at night, i think you should only flush when u poo.
