I am proud to say, I don't own a cell phone. Further, I am proud to say, I have NEVER talked on a cell phone. I have only carried a cell phone once. My wife forgot hers and I took it to her at her work. I informed her, politely, that this was not to become a habit.
I spent 22 years in the military. During that time I was always on recall status (phone rings and I had 30 minutes to report). The only exceptions were during periods of official leave (vacations). When I retired I conducted an experiment, I decided not to answer the phone. Did you know that if you ignore a ringing phone long enough it will stop ringing? I have found this to be true 100% of the time. My wife has to ask me to answer phone if she intends to call and there is almost always a time period established. I admit, I recently installed an answering machine but the rest of the family are the real users.
I am not a snob, really. I just don't consider myself so important that I have to be in CONSTANT communication 24/7/365 with someone. I believe I have seen a cell phone interrupt, literally, every human activity I have ever observed, at least once. Maybe it is great. Personally I think it is sad. Communication for the sake of communication is like change for the sake of change. I question whether either accomplishes much.
So the answer to your question is no I don't.

No, but only if Ì'm waiting for an important call... Or if it's my bf... I wouldn't ring anyone from the loo seat!

hehe nope!
But I understand why someone would.
I know real estate agents do... I used to work at a real estate agency and when they'd call in I could... uh... sometimes hear some "background noise".
