Never really liked school. Always Loved learning.

Let me answer your question by posing another: would you rather have a job that pays $400 a week and never gets ahead of inflation, or take a few years to learn a lot (while your mind is young and strong and can learn more eagerly) and then start out at $800 per week with chances for promotion?

Another question: why do you hate school? Have you got a solid idea about why you're taking those courses? Too many of my students don't have a solid plan for the future, they have no idea about their career goal and thus no way to prepare for it, either in course work or through networking in that profession. If this is the case, go to your campus career development office to talk about planning your future, and talk to the professors privately in the courses you hate the most to find out why they think you're required to take that course.

BTW, intentionally mis-spelling words--is that out of fashion yet? Guess NOT :-)

Currently, I am taking my basics and despising it. Initially, I was dead set against a degree (having two family members who have obtained masters and used them very little), but after working in the service industry for 4 years (bartending and waitressing), school is evidentally a crucial step. I hope that I gain a great career out of it, or I fear I will have a breakdown.

It's not a waste of time for me.
I have a full-time 'real' job, and am finishing my Uni degree.
