No. that is forbidden as pagan worship and another reason why Christianty is fractured. Believing in and being Christ-like is one thing, following Christian religious rules which vary by demonination, and largely constucted to control, is another. Superstitions, like astrology, and religion are similarly based and mislead us many times over so be careful that you don't start acting on what is written by people who worship false gods or attribute our actions to supernatural forces. We are responsible and should act accordingly. The zodiac is a pathway we've designated to describe the apparent space traveled by the sun, moon and planets. It's houses are simply happenstance...the background stars that we see behind the solar system residents. Thinking that these multidistant Galactic bodies can affect us from birth -- not since conception -- is very fashionable but silly.

Yes it is Ok to read the stars. Some tend to
forget there is The Holy God and the false god.
It is the false one that tells one not to read such
things. The True or Holy God told some disciples when they asked about the meaning of
dreams and God said: Why Bother Me with Such Trival Matters.. God.. only help thee that help themself.. goeth unto a sooth sayer! ( I think this is in Chronicles.). From Collins World Kings James, 7th day adventist pub. printed Nov. 10, 1975 under Ronald King Murray lord advocate If it's not Chronicles it's
somewhere in near that area!

No, the Bible says that no one knows the future except God, and that in Jeremiah 10:2, it states, "Thus saith the Lord, "Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven: for the heathen are dismayed at them:.(KJV). Also in Deuteronomy 17:2-5. "And hath gone and served other gods,; and worshipped them, either the sun, or moon, or any of the host of heaven, which I have not commanded". (v 3).And Isaiah 47:13-14: "Thou art wearied in the multitude of thy counsels. Let now the astrologers, the stargazers, the monthly prognosticators, stand up, and save thee from these things that shall come upon thee". (this talks about punishment).Verse 14 talks about the type of punishment astrologers will receive.
This also applies to tarot card readers, numerology, and the like.

It depends on who you ask and how "conservative" that person is. Interestingly enough, the three wise men in the Bible were astrologers from the East, and they're revered by the Christian faith, whereas during some historical times and even today in some factions, as mentioned by others here, astrology was/is considered heresy, so there's a complete double standard there.

Why not. If your of a type that can go with the idea of there being gods then you have nothing to loose by paying money to some con- man who tells you he/she can read your destiny in the stars.

In the bible, which King James had written, it says to avoid kraftwerk, meaning study of the stars. However the three wise men studied stars. I think it does not hurt anything. They are God's stars.

Why not? All religions are guidelines on how to lead a better life, however following anything too closely leads to a narrow-minded view of the world, which leads to hatred. Experience things for yourself and use your own morals and common sense to judge whether something is right to do or not.

Medieval Churches declared study of stars that includes astrology as well as astronomy as witchcraft. This they did to wield power. Otherwise Nostradamus (Michel de Nostradame) would not have survived by writing in cryptic language.

I,m a christian and sometimes look at the horoscopes but in reality how can everyone born in one certain month have the same life. Most of the forecasts are pretty general and could apply to anyone if you think about it seriously

Surely 'reading' the stars has pagan origins. If you're a christian and want some answers, why don't you pray?
