According to sex researcher Alfred Kinsey close to 99% of humanity is some degree of bi. The scales runs from 0=physically unable to respond to same sex through 7=same thing for opposite sex, both are quite rare. Most people are in the 1-6 range, where 1-2=straight, 2-4=bi, and 5-6=gay. A 1 can respond to the same sex under certain circumstances, like a man in prison, but would never choose such an encounter given a choice. Your friend could be a 5, which would still make her gay, but on the edge. It is a mistake to try and pigeonhole people into only three categories, humans are way more complex than that.

Meh. I don't really see why everyone is so eager to memorize statistics about other people's sex lives. It could be that a number of gays and lesbians spend years struggling with their sexuality before coming to terms with it, which is why many might have frequent relations with the opposite sex prior to coming out, trying to see if they'd feel any attraction during the act. At any rate, statistics generally aren't as accurate as some people seem to think.

Sexuality is a grey area. There are hardcore lesbians, and hard core straight people. The in betweens, you really can just place into a definite catagory.
What really matters is if you trust her. Her past is her own business, but as long as she is true to you, there doesn't need to be a re-visiting of her past experiences. I know it's easier said than done, but you have to be very strong inside and for yourself, and until you see strong signs that something is wrong currently, then just enjoy her company.
Don't get caught up in the labels. I used to do that, and well I learned with time, that you cant just assume people are going to fit neatly in a catagory.

It would seem that she is bisexual... but I don't see the point in getting caught up with labels. For gay, lesbian and bisexual people, it has never really meant anything good. I think that everyone falls somewhere on a spectrum... that runs from homosexual to heterosexual... and trying to fit people into little boxes that fit with the labels is unfair. Maybe your girlfriend is bi, but if she denies she is, she is uncomfortable with the label, so why not just let her be. As long as she's not having sex with men or other women while she's with you, I wouldn't stress out about it.

Hello
(i'm french, sorry for my english)
Your girlfriend is a little bit ... bi. Oral sex is not nothing for a girl, i suppose, or it's only for fun, to do some experience (?);
But the reel question, I think, is : Do you want to be with a girl who have some sexuals relations with another person -men or women- during your relationship ?
If you really love her (and the same thing for her), it's not very important that she could be bi because she loves to make love with you.
I don't know if I was clear for you, I hope...

I think she's bi, personally. Either that, or she prefers men? (Sorry, I guess you don't wanna hear that, but it's a thought).

It sounds like she's either in denial, has some strange views on orientation, or lacks any willpower and responsibility.

You are right, she is bisexual. If she were really lesbian she would ONLY have sex with you, so I agree with you.
