The problem, I think, was that the astrological compatibility test you did was probably based on only the Sun sign. That's no way to check compatibility between 2 persons.

There are 12 signs, 9 main planets, 12 houses, and lots more factors in a chart, some being strong, others weak. So there are an almost infinite number of configurations, and that's for just natal charts.

Then you have to compare your own chart with that for another person, to see if both are compatible - a complicated and intricate process.

For close personal relationships, you need to especially compare these planets: Sun, Moon, Venus and Mars. And these houses: 1st (Personality), 7th (Marriage), 5th (Romance).

If you're really desperate, you could try a little trick with the test. You compare the same factor in the 2 charts. E.g. compare the Sun signs, then Moon signs, then Venus signs, and so on. For houses, compare the signs on the cusps of those houses. Then, out of the 7 criteria listed above, see how may positives and negatives you get. But note that this still does not give the complete picture.

If you don't have the full info of both charts, it's better not to do these compatibility tests. They are very limited in scope, and don't do justice to Astrology.

No I don't believe in such things. These things are a total waste of time. When I had checked the compatibility of me and my then boyfriend it was said that we were made for each other. But we broke up in just 3 months ( he was a jerk). And when I checked the compatibility of me and Sam , it was said that we are unlikely couple and guess what? We have been dating since three years and are still steady!

Don't let such stupid compatibility depress you!

The only accurate book on compatable signs is Star Power by Jackie Stallone. ANd HER charts are not what all the others are. I would look up your compatability in HER book. I have never known it to be wrong in the years I've owned it! I am supposed to be compatable with Capricorn in all the other books but HERS says no way. And from my own experience I believe HER!

yes, very much so. I'm a Virgo and my hubby is a Taurus, and our compatibility chart has us nailed to the wall, as does the mother daughter relationship between me and my mom and me and my daughter (I'm a Virgo trapped between two Cappies) There is so much about astrology that makes too much sense, it can't all be coincidence.

Interesting answers. Astrology appears to only bias against itself. It seems to consider age differences, education, race, sexual orientation, nationality, religion, or economic stature unimportant. But based on someone's fate of birthday, time and location of birth, it's easy. Well maybe not if you're a "time twin". Too good to be true?

No, someone did that test on me and my husband before we were married. The test said that we were too much alike to have a lasting relationship. That was in 1985, 21 years ago! We are still happly married with one daughter who is 16 years old, Believe me, the information was correct tho, because if one of us is happy, the other usually is, but the same goes when one of us is mad. lol
Good Luck!

It's russian roulette really, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, there's a lot of odd ball match ups, but that's due to freedom of choice and life influences that mold most people's personalities into who they are now....so you can NOTICE a lot of comparative traits with their signs, and as far as compatability you can notice such comparisons as well, but what it really boils down to is the person in general and who they based on how they lived life. Like me for example, my sign can't get along with leos, and it's true cause most people that get on my damn nerves are leos, BUT my brother is a leo and he's like my best friend, and possibly because we've lived with each other for so long we kinda grew that bond. ALSO, like on the dating field, lots of the women that are supposedly my match never worked out at all. And as of now i realized I get along REALLY well with people who are pisces, because i realize we share alot of similar traits....ESPECIALLY if they're born the same day. My baby brother was born the same day as i was, and we have a WEIRDLY close connection, i swear he reads my moods sometimes..it's freakin scary. I also dated a girl born the same day i was....it didn't work because of bad choices n stuff, but now my fiance SHE'S pisces and she's been the best thing that has ever happened to me, she made me believe in love again, cause the last few women i was with were HORRIBLE, and most of em were my matched sign.

unlucky unioN?
i do believe in astrolgical compatibility, however every person is different .finding out your partners sign and furthering your information about how they are and act can help you figure them out. Don't base your compatability on if they match up or not, try it out and read up on their signs.
