What form of birth control/ contraceptives were u using when you got pregnant? Was everything used perfectly?
I got pregnant while on the pill (used it right) and I was also on the second to last day of my period, a time many people beleive its impossible to get pregnant. Our daughter is the best surprise my husband and I have ever gotten. Just wondering how many other people have "pleasant surprise" babies

I was on the pill - you could set your watch by me. I never missed a dose, took it at the same time every day. A little while later, I had my period for 2 days and then it just stopped cold. It was unusual for me because my periods are always regular, they always last for 6 days.
Yes, we had a surprise, I freaked for about 5 minutes (had just started college for the second time) and assumed that my bf was freaking too, until he said, "I think it's great. I think we would be great parents." From that point on I never regretted it. My son is 2 and I don't know what I'd do without him. It turns out he inspires me to do more than I could inspire myself to do.

I was taking the pill and didn't skip a beat. Still I became pregnant. I learned that the pill can be counteracted by other pills if taken together. I was taking St. John's Wart (a mood elevator) and apparently that is one of the herbs that counteracts the pill. In the end, I have a wonderful little girl, but not at the time I expected :)

My ex-daughter-in-law got pregnant with all her girls on the pill, as per her. I do not doubt her, as I have a lot of respect for her words, but I do not know how this happens. I could not take the pills, so my husband had a vasectomy after the third child.

And where are you people seeing all these prostitutes anyway?? I mean where I live we don't have obvious prostitutes walking around. Maybe some of the so called "women who say the condom broke" are prostitutes. But I'm sure alot more people that we realize get abortions before anyone would notice...or they are on so many drugs that the baby doesn't survive long enough to be born. Who really knows for sure?

Condom can fail and people forget to take birth control pills and not admit it.
