past: before, in the past, previously, in the old days

future: then, later, never, forever, henceforth, tomorrow, in the future

I would say 'then' or 'later', or any other time concept, like 'before' or 'afterwards'. Anything else like that, obviously except for words like 'presently', 'currently' etc. :)
