Most definitely.

You didn't see a documentary. You saw someone's attempt to portray the moon landing as a hoax.

I thought they did. But as you said, i too saw the documentary, now i have strong doubts if they did. If they really did land on the moon, NASA could have objected to this wrong claim, but I dont think they reacted in anyway. hmmmmmmmmm...................
and the claims made by the documentary does seems to be valid too. Afterall why does the NASA keep so much secrets. If they had not actually landed on the moon, why did they create this hoax? And again one of the major person who was involved in this project was a german scientist who was caught from Germany during World War II. If you have to talk about conspiracies they are loads, and there would be no end to it. After all why they do all this, God only knows.

Yes, the Russians kept an eye on everything during every trip to ensure it wasn't faked, as they would have loved it if it was.

Also I'm told there was some equipment setup for monitoring the distance of the Moon from the Earth but I'm sure of the truth in that and can't find anything to back it up.

Stevieboy: You're right, there is no atmosphere on the Moon but the flag doesn't need wind to stand up. It's got a bar across the top to keep it up.

TY: They did it more than once. The reason they haven't done it recently is because it's been done and there's little point to repeating the same expensive mission multiple times just for the hell of it. NASA is more interested in Mars apparently anyway.

I agree with a few of the answerers that, having seen the documentary, the Moon landings then were stage managed to impress the people that "we had the technology". I believe that the "landings" were set in a remote part of USA, the "area 51" top secret place, as the flag supposed to have been placed on the moon was flapping, which confirms that there is no wind on the moon. Also, the astronauts would have found it very hard to break out of the Van Allan belt, which shields us from radiation. The only craft that did land were the robot powered surveillance craft launched by both USA and Russia.

I know what you mean. I think there is an element of doubt about the whole thing, especially regarding the technology aspect, but having seen all sorts of photos taken in space and from the moon, I would say they have. To eliminate any further thoughts of this, NASA should just send a satelite over the original landing sites and take some pic's as it'd be a lot cheaper than going back

First off... if they really did land on the moon... how in the world and why in the world would they lose the original footage of the moon landing. Wouldn't that footage have been a coveted prize from our early space exploration??? Second, consider the fact that they could not land back onto Earth after they returned from the lunar mission... however, they expect us to believe that they could land on the moon and then take back off from the moon... BUT... they would have to land in the ocean when they returned. If we didn't have the technology to LAND back on Earth... how in world, could we have done everything else that they stated they did. Sadly, our technology was definitely in its infancy stage in 1969 and hasn't even progressed enough at this time to undertake a lunar mission. Notice how NASA is hoping for a lunar mission by 2018... why the long wait?

I have a very good friend who doesn't believe that anyone has ever landed on the moon. He showed me a documentary to support the theory that moon landings are impossible. Despite some persuasive information I still believe that we landed on the moon.

I think the real question which can be applied to all these conspiracy theories is "who cares?".

Apart from velcro fastners on my ski jacket and a teflon saucepan in the kitchen, the moon landings whether real or not have no impact on my life at all.

Real or hoax, the money would have been better spent on alternative fuel sources here on earth.

No, it was an elaborate hoax. Just like the Holocaust, it never happened either, 6 million Jews just went walkabout and have never been heard from since, but they are still alive and have continued a normal life. In fact, World War II itself never happened, all the footage is fake.
In fact, the entire world is a hoax built just for you: you're being watched day and night by aliens who created this fake world to observe your reactions, studying your behaviour. Like in the Truman Show, but on a larger scale!!

I wonder that too. A reason I doubt it is because you never see or here from Neil Armstrong...why? He was the first person to step foot on the moon, if it were me then I'd want to talk about it for the rest of my life, I'd feel proud and privileged to have been the first one to do that. I therefor think it was a hoax and he was denied the chance to do what he set out to do. So he has denied being in the public eye agreeing to silence in return for privacy.
