I love sleeping, but don't get near enough.
Too many late nights answering questions.
As long as you're healthy in other respects I don't see that a lot of sleep would be detrimental to your health.

I am not a professional. But, one must ask how much is too much? I sleep 10-14hours sometimes. It does not affect my health. But, sometimes I feel that I lose a part of my life. So sleep when you are suppose to sleep. Sleep enough and have the rest of the waking hours to enjoying living...appreciate nature, improve your surrounding, work for pleasure...do charity work, give your time to help others, if you don't have to work. Study more, if you are still in school. Read ... just for fun..if you don't have to.

It depends on the individual, yes, I suppose that would be the best. I know I look better when I do get lots of sleep, but I am a night person, and do not get sleepy at night. My dad put me to bed when it was not even dark, so now I fight it, and just cannot go to b ed until I am exhausted. Then I go into a deep sleep.

I don;t think 8 hours can be classed as too much sleep, I believe this is the norm. I know that I personally feel worse after stating in bed longer. It makes me far more slugish and lazy than if I get out of bed without a lie in!

I always feel if i sleep to much i feel sick and always more tired. And if your sleeping through the day then you might not get some sunlight that might be good for your body/energy... But other then that i dont think it could really harm you at all...

nah nothing wrong with it just a waste of the day if you sleep all day there are some better things to do! but a full 8 hours a night is pure luxury though! good luck snoozing! zzzzz

length of sleep depends on the physical and mental activity of an individual.
5 to 10 hours of sleep is okay, depending on this factor. however, regular heavy sleep can lead to indigestional problems and makes us lethargic, gloomy and blunt

Yes i believe it does. I haven't slept properly in over 10 weeks, for no apparent reason, and i feel like crap! i get irritated easily, eczema has flared up and to be honest i could just sit and cry i feel so tired! i won't tho cos i'm made of sterner stuff than that!
Bring on the weekend i might be granted a lie in finally!!!
