I am visiting family in Kuwait... what do I need to pack?

Over all, Kuwait is in the desert zone of the Sahara geographical region. The summers are intensely hot and dry... From September to December, the temperature drops dramatically. Winters in Kuwait, which generally last from early December until mid-February, are relatively cold.
January is the coldest month.
Temp can get to 70°F (21°C) in winter (take or leave)
It is not uncommon for temperatures to drop below freezing on some occasions throughout the winter. Winters can sometimes be very rainy, though most precipitation falls in the spring (from mid-February to mid-May).

Bring along a pashmina/shawl... and a jacket too. You may wanna get your umberlla too just in case.

It is the time where a lot of people go out and have fun.. even wear warm clothes and sit out in coffee shops/restaurants and enjoy a hot drink.

Kuwait is fairly cold at this month especially at the end of the month, and its get colder in January.so get jackets or sweaters but not so heavy.

I used to live there. It has about the same climate as San Diego, CA (lived there too) Light sweaters
are appropriate and it is the start of their "rainy season".
