What is the most interesting/funniest conversation you have ever overheard??

I was in a hospital waiting room, and there was a dear old lady sat in the corner. When my bf held my hand, she turned to another lady beside her and said

"Aaaw, isn't that sweet? I remember what love was like at that age"

She went on to tell the other lady (and the rest of the waiting room) about how when she was younger, she had to kiss her lover through the bars of her window, as she wasn't allowed to be with him until they were married.

She carried on by telling a story about a friend of hers who once did a lot more than kiss though the window bars...

It was very amusing, and quite interesting historically too - lol! I was almost disappointed when they called out my name - I wanted to hear how they actually managed a relationship through bars???

These 2 women were talking one day at the grocery
