I believe the much talked about race in racism is a race towards Armageddon run by communities of faithful believers motivated by conservative ideological traditions to out work, out fight and out number the rest of the world.

The best way to convince a racist that they shouldn't be racist is by offering racists an alternative to the education, entertainment and leadership offered conservative ideological traditions.

As a liberal, I love to be free to make up my mind about myself; about all I find. I do not claim to know the will of God or even if God exists. In my efforts to achieve and maintain happiness and good health, I find it more useful to converge upon a model of self and world that enables me to have the highest esteem of self and world I can possibly imagine. I do this by choosing to include in my model of self and world the idea that divine eternal aspects of self and world exist. I call these divine eternal aspects of self and world; soul and spirit. In the reality I fashion in my mind, the spirit is an infinity divinity eternally one and is in and a part of every one and every thing. Every one and every thing is sacred not just holy books, holy buildings and or holy men. There is no escaping sacredness.

Maybe Conservative Christians believe that the purpose of their lives is a test of their character and their loyalty to a good one in heaven who is at war with an evil one cast down to and ruling over Earth. Maybe members run a race towards Armageddon because members expect that Armageddon will precipitate the return of their savior. I believe the purpose of my life is enjoyment of entertainment derived from acting in the drama of life and death, playing in the game of survival and sacrifice, taking the test of success and failure and fighting in the primal conflict between predator and prey as a life form in a body consuming biosphere on a crusted magma global with a sun and moon reproducible in a galaxy of stars, in a universe of galaxies and in an infinite body of universes that is the infinite body of an infinity divinity eternally one. All souls are free in the infinite abundance of love and divine freedom of the spirit to enjoy this entertainment eternally as one.

I believe it is possible to make a more equitable distribution of wealth of the global culture and at the same time preserve the environment in good health far into the future if the many will abandon these conservative ideological traditions that motivate them to run a race towards Armageddon and embrace liberal ideological traditions such as my own that lead the many to have the highest esteem of self and world; to believe that all souls are, have always been and always will be free in the infinite love, divine grace and eternal unity of the spirit; and in peace provide education that makes sex for occupational, recreational, and homosexual purposes as well as sex for heterosexual and procreative purposes honorable, acceptable, and safer.

While conservatives undoubtedly will continue to motivate communities of faithful believers to out work, out fight and out number competition by spreading the fear of self and hatred of others that follows from heterofascist, atheistic, perfectionistic, nationalistic negativism, I believe there will also always be those such as myself who negate their negativism and arrive at an inspired celebration of the liberal love of self and others that follows from homotolerant, agnostic, positivistic, nationalistic spiritization of self and world taken to it's logical extreme. racism is elsewhere. laws were created to end or alleviate racism issues yet it persist to exist. in order to convince racist that they shouldn't be racist requires the impossible.

1) you should do something about the colour of the skin of all people. either make all people white, black or brown.
2) unify religion, culture and tradition.
3) create a society where all people believes in the same idea, goes to the same direction and thinks the same way.

Not until you do something to resolve the above issues, racist will still be racist and racism will persist to exist.

Possibly find out if they believe the origin of man was in Africa and they moved around the world adapting and evolving their skin color and facial features to whatever climate early man moved to. If they believe that (as I think there is enough evidence of) they might figure out the rest.
