To encourage participation and reward great answers, Yahoo! Answers has a system of points and levels. The number of points you get depends on the specific action you take. You can't use points to buy or redeem anything, they do allow everyone to recognize how active and helpful you've been.

Yahoo points ? : it is as simple as, if you answer a question you will get 2 points, if you vote a question you will get 1 point, if your answer selected as best answer you will get 10 points, etc..

Any benefit ? : Its all how you take this concept, useful informations, how people thinks, worldwide comments on your questons, etc. Basically sharing our knowledge in Yahoo answers. An asker will be benefited by getting many and correct answers for his question, what else he wants !!!!

No money !!!! : You can see how many peoples are active and responding quickly in Yahoo answer just to share their knowledge, Money !!!, we can earn at our work but here we all are earning KNOWLEDGE and answers.
