"worm" is a word that reffers to several groups of animals, including insects, nematodes, earthworms etc.
Insect larvae do have eyes, but they are rather simple, as well as sensitive setae. Larvae of Coleoptera normally feed on roots.
Nematodes don't have neither eyes nor ears, and they are normally parasites of insects, plants, mammals etc. They spend a short time under the soil.

Earthworms travel through the soil, following the scent of rotting vegetable matter which they eat. Since they also eat soil, they are good for the soil; turning dead leaves into nitrogen rich compost and mixing it in with the soil.
They also aerate the soil and improve drainage.
Their bodies are covered with sense organs. They are bristly. If you ever put one on a sheet of paper, you can hear them moving. The bristles help them move through the soil, but also help them sense whats happening around them.
Eyes wouldn't be much use to them, they are nocturnal and so live in the dark both underground and when they come up at night to feed. And they don't need ears. Sticking out ears would make them less streamlined; the bristles work just as well for them. They need to feel vibration, not hear sound.

what's the point of eyes if you're underground most of the time? and why would they need ears? worms rely upon touch and can sense vibrations through the ground. those are their main senses. they eat soil. that's what those unusual curls of squidgey earth are on top of soil. they're the excreted product of worms and are very good for plant growth.

Well no one can say why they dont have ears or eyes, but they tunnel underground and do come up sometimes. They eat the dirt to make their tunnels so there is there transportation and food right there. :)
