Frequently.
And I've never understood how I can't manage to make my sandwiches as nice as the sandwich ladies do.

I bring 1 can of Baxters Healthy Choice soup (0.87p) to work. I have half of it at 11:00 AM and the other half at 1:00.
That way it keeps be from becoming ravenously hungry. Baxters don't put additives in their food either, so it's healthy. It's warm and comforting at just the right time of day.
Other than that I just drink warm water, and green tea throughout the day. I know - a real party!
Sitting at a desk all day I certainly don't need extra calories. And saving the money is great. Work out how much you spend in a month on buying food at luch. It will shock you!

Yes, frequently. I'll make something the night before, take it in and then think of some reason not to eat it, or go for lunch with colleagues. So end up spending twice as much - the food I buy at home to make lunches and the lunches I actually buy at work!

I had a work colleague that brought stuff from home every day, but then went out and spent an hour shopping for her lunch every day too.
Better still, when she got back, she would then spend 45 minutes back at her desk eating what she had bought (a second lunch hour, if you like).
Then, she would have her lunch frm home mid-way through the afternoon!
She was a little overweight, by the way.

Yes I do that most days, probably because I work on my own outside and I really enjoy the company and friendly chat of the helpers in the two cafes that I visit alternately.

Oh, in my case, I ordered food for lunch but then, I still go to our canteen to eat and just save that food I ordered for my dinner and breakfast the following day :)
