Try 38%!

More than that, lucky you!

This is where your money is going, top 5 on federal budget.
$586.1 billion - Social Security
$466.0 billion - Defense
$394.5 billion - Medicare
$367.0 billion - Unemployment and welfare
$276.4 billion - Medicaid and other health related

So about 4% of your money goes to Defense, the other 20% goes to paying for broke-asses. So think of it this way... if you work 5 days a week, 1 entire day you are on the clock for someone else. That's 52 days a year of your life that you spend flipping burgers so that someone else doesn't have to.

And that's only 25% taxes.

Um yeah! I also know about something called taxation without representation. It means that if you don't have equal rights in the USA then you shouldn't be obligated to pay taxes until you do. Unfortunately, I can't get the company I work for to agree, so it's que sera to my tax dollars while my partner of 14 years and our two adopted kids wait for this country to understand that we are a family and not just a political statement.

Witheld taxes from salaries are directly funnelled to government termed as lifeblood of the country to defray the expenses for public works and welfare. It is not even 25% only because others working more and earning more pay higher taxes..

Hell yeah!!! Try 38%!!!! This must be your first paycheck. Just remember...the more a populace is taxed by a government, the fewer freedoms they enjoy. It's just correlation. The more they take...the more they take.
