you can't. I agree with most of the other comments from what seem to me to be spiritually enlightened folks. I am 43 getting ready to marry someone in the ministry - I have always been rooted in the Lord/church since I was a little girl. For me to marry someone unsaved.. . .it wasn't even a fleeting thought. You feel me. .it's like the mansion built on sand. If you're not aligned with the person spiritually - you got problems. The Bible says "husbands love your wife as Christ loved the church" what do you think that means to someone unsaved - He can''t love you, because he doesn't first love Christ. Husbands have an awesome responsibility in God's eyes he holds them accountable for a lot - and if you are dealing with someone unsaved darling, he's still got blinders on, he can't see what you see.

it is most difficult for an unsaved person to relate or understand how we feel spiritually but you might try telling this person what jesus has done for you and your life since you have accepted him in your heart. You never know maybe just by witnessing thru testimony the holy spirit will take over and allow this person to want what you have. use your bible or a devotional book as a resource when you try to explain things.

I think it would be difficult for the spouse to understand. Do not listen to the other people who answer "God warned you with or about this." They do not understand the circumstance. Even if the spouse or mate was saved, Christians still have up and down moments. Keep up with the praying and just explain I needed fulfillment spiritually as well as mentally and physically. Or just take your time with this situation.

What is unsaved. Unsaved from who? You? If you and your mate are on different wavelengths, get yourself a mate who is "saved". And who gives you the right to decide who is saved and who isn't. Maybe God thinks you need saving too!!! Think about it

......if there are people around who believe they cannot live unless god is the foundation of their lives, then that is their perogative, but by the same token there are other people around who are unafraid of living by doing so standing on their own 2 feet.... Those who are stronger are unafraid to challenge anybody, whether it be a robber in the street, the boss at work, god or jesus, or the devil in hell. Atheists fear no one, not god, not jesus or the devil. God loves his followers, his believers, his flock and his sheep, because he knows he can lead them around like puppets,..but when god, and jesus and the devil are pitted against an athiest, they become fearful because deep inside their hearts they know an athiest doesnt take laughable pompous bull...t from anyone......Athiests dont like philosophies filled with artificial,. fake,. pompous,. c...ap,. which is why, after reading some of the absurd and ridiculous stuff in the bible,. it's sometime's impossible to stop laughing......Truthfully,.. lot's of it is absurd beyond the relms of ridiculous.....

MANNNNNN why did you do it! God warned of this, and you still tied the not. You have no compassion in my book. God doesn't warn believers of this kindof stuff for nothing. in a battle of marrage it's too hard to win. It's like Satans playground. I have no advise except you messed up and hopefully your spouse doesn't use this against you in your everyday spiritual battle. You better start prayin God opens their eyes cause without God your hopeless.

it is very difficult. They will only understand the secular meaning and not how your feeling spirtually. How did you find a mate that you are not evenly yolked with?
