If she needs someone to cross check her work in order to avoid mistakes, than so am I......however, being continuosly checking documents for....I don't know about 5 times over a document, I think it's fair to have another person to cross check my work too. But **** happens sometimes, the 1st & 2nd person happen to miss out on certain words/ formats......She'll shove you with very belittle words at you and she makes sure the entire departments hear her screams.

Maybe its constructive criticism to help you improve and further yourself with her company. Ask questions. Doing your own job well is good but doing that and helping your boss do her job well is a whole lot better. In most businesses most of the time power is transferred from the boss to her best employee. If that's the way your business works when you help your boss move up by making her look good, she'll do the same for you.
Keep in mind that as an employee you have a distinct advantage over your boss because you are probably, in some way or another, closer to the action. You may be closer to the customers or to the production process or to the fulfillment problems. You may be closer to what goes on internally ... the strife and turmoil among employees.
Whatever it is, you have an opportunity to help your boss succeed by coming up with perspectives, questions, and solutions she can't clearly see. Do that and she'll be your strongest supporter when it comes time to upgrade your income. And if she doesn't respond to that, she needs some constructive criticism.

She might be sounding crazy but she must have done something right to get up there and be your boss. Do yourself a favour by ignoring her mistakes but try noticing her traits. When you think you learn enough, just move on.
However, if she's the boss because she was born with a silver spoon or had just inherited a big some of money...then you should just leave the job soon. There's enough jobs to go around in the world!
But just make sure you find a job before you quit.

Sounds like a f***ing b**ch to me. You probably need to quit but find another job first, it's not an easy job market out there.
But, have you considered this? Maybe she yells at because you make a lot of mistakes...after all your grammar isn't too good in your question and your question isn't written that clearly either. Maybe you should take some remedial english/grammar. Hone your skills, then maybe she'll lighten up on you.
I think her yelling at you should be some kind of signal or warning for you...better than her firing you at your 1st mistake, don't you think?

I'd take my boss aside and ask her why she is yelling at the employees. The people there are adults and if there is a problem with a particular person you NEVER berate them in front of other employees. If this is cutting close to verbal abuse contact Human Resources immediately. Such behavior would not be tolerated by workers therefore it cant not be tolerated by supervisors and higher ups.

oh my god. i think she sucks ! boo boo to her ! and i pity you alot my dear, it sucks seriously to have a boss like this. if you can and have the opportunities, by all means, quit. leave. there is this saying that go "find a job that you really like and love and you would never have to work forever". I guess you are dreading work everyday now, poor thing. and your boss should know, nobody's perfect. Well, you could also try yelling at her, but it might cause you to lose your job, lol. bad idea. just out of curiosity, is she married? =0

I think she's not so self assured as she seems and the yelling is part of a 'show' to help herself feel more confident. If she yells when there are mistakes, every body will know she is the boss and thus respect her and be careful...

I'll trade you for a lying back-stabber who has taken full credit for every idea I ever had. He even had the nerve to tell me to my face that one of my Ideas was his. His exact words were," I know that it has a few problems, but it was the best idea I could come up with at the time."

I don't care who you are if you are my boss or my employee I will not let anyone yell at me.
If you are professional about your work ethics and do your job well, you deserve respect. You need to say in a respectable manner that you will not allow her to disrepect you like this. The minute you stand up for yourself she will lay off. People do the things they do because we allow it.

It happens to me in the job & family: 2 different persons, both equally annoying.
All the activities, tasks, fruits, results are good if they do them, but the other people always fail.
Narrow minded, tyranic, ignorant, egocentric, desgusting....
