Both are the same and some cross over and join the other party. Until the citizens stop this basically 2 party system it will always be corrupt. The people are the only ones that can stop it but what is never spoken of is these parties large contributors and private supporters behind the scene that get these hidden little add on passed in larger bills that bleed the average citizen. America was founded by revolution and we are just too complacent now with having an easier life in debt and being the worlds super cop that we freely give our sons to die on foreign soil for unforeseen things.
No one should remain in Congress after 2 years as well the system needs an overhaul, The old saying if it ain't broke don't fix it, well we have been overdue for an overhaul a long time ago.

your question is the very backbone they need to sustain immorality. all political parties are the same, they just have a different brand name. if you study politics then you will see that some of the nastiest people became politicans. people go into politics for money, lust. greed. a decent person will never go in policts
