Why do they ask and does it benefit them in anyway? Or do they need something to gossip about? Lately I've been getting alot of questions concerning what goes on in my household( family), I was just wondering if people do you the same way...

people have no right to ask you personal questions, unless if you send your consent. i mean if u do feel uncomfortable about it, then try changing the subject or ask them why are they asking such questions? and what does it concern them?
u have the right not to answer their questions if u don't feel like it .

I feel it is not normal to ask too personal questions unless the asker is very very close to you or family or concerned with the question. If people are asking eiher they are gosspping on you or family, or may they are seeing or imagining something which is there or not there. It is good to be careful about these questions.

once again, what's the situation you were in? Maybe they're just curious, they might be a caring person that cares for others. Probably that person found you interested to talk to in some way.. or they want to start a conversation, if you don't feel comfortable with it, just tell them so, i can't answer you that. But ya.. i mean I got that alot too. :)

Well... depend on people... some likes to gossip... some are being concern... it depends on how u thinks and reacts... if dun feel comfortable, just tell them in a nice way... I guess most will understand it... especially pertaining to family matters...

Well personally, I ask personal questions when I'm trying to get to know someone with no intentions of harming that person. From experience, I can tell you that the people asking you these questions are like me, or they are questioning your abilities and/or your intent. If they are out of line, just tell them so. It'll make you feel better!

I ask people I work with where they live and if they have any kids and so on and so forth typical get to know each other questions. I would NEVER ask someone what goes on in their home unless they were a friend of mine. It is none of their business and if someone asked me I would tell them that.

Yes, you hit the nail right on the head. People are nosey and need gossip fodder. Their own lives are either really boring, or they are so miserable, they want to detract atttention from themselves and focus on someone else who is perhaps worse off.

No it is never Okay to ask personal question to ask on web. They may hurt you coz not everybody can think like u. There is a big difference religions, races and so many things thats why they think differently.

all the time.just tell them that it Ur life and family and Ur not talking about it.I'm sure u can find something to talk about.if not start asking them things that they r trying to get out of and see how they like it.if dint and say anything to u tell them then how does it feel

well most of the people just want to get to know you better and the only way they will is by asking you personal questions or maybee they are consern about you and they want to know if you are okay
