I love this question - thank you. Fantastic!
For a long time I worked so hard to get where I am now. When my husband and I first got together, we lived in a rundown house, our car barely worked, and we had almost no money.
However after working hard and being determined, we now have a big house, 2 nice cars, a lovely garden, good jobs.... it doesn't really matter as much to me though.
If nuclear fallout occurred, and everything we had was destroyed, I'm positive that I could live in a cardboard box with my husband. He makes me very happy by just being there.
Also, I would still be able to sing, doze in the sunshine on a summers day, stroke my cat, listening to him purr, Read a good book, do a puzzle or practice my yoga - all make me happy.
Happiness is priceless and cannot be bought. Once you know how to access your own happiness, it would be very hard for anyone to take it away from you.

The real happiness in my heart is knowing I live in a society where I can pursue whatever makes my heart happy at the time.

Oh, as for me, my real happiness is to be able to reach out to the needs of the poor people, especially in conducting Medical Mission in remote areas here in our country.
Actually, I still need financial assistance for such noble mission to be held next month. I do find self fulfillment and I consider it as my greatest accomplishment in life.

What makes me happy -- to see my son smile, to spend time with family and friends, to love and be loved
What I want -- good health for myself, my family, and my friends; to be able to keep a roof over my family's head, and food in their mouths; to never let material possessions become important enough to make me forget what is really important

You're right. For me true happiness is seeing my daughter smiling or for her telling me that she loves me. I know it sounds corny but I wouldn't trade for all the money in the world.
