My present hobby is collecting Delft Blue KLM miniature houses.
These are porcelain houses which are 4 to 5 inches tall. The miniature houses are copied from real Dutch houses of the 17th, 18th and 19th century. These miniature houses are actually decanters that hold very small quantities of alcohol from the distillery Bols of the Netherlands.
These miniature houses are given as gifts to passengers who travel business class on KLM. Alas, I cannot afford to travel business every time, so I end up purchasing these collectibles on eBay.
Presently there are 87 different miniature houses, and I have managed to have every one of them in my display cabinet. They are such darlings to hold and look at.

I collect thimbles. I have about 60 of them so far, but my favorites are from Italy, Switzerland, England, Israel and a tiny beer stein thimble from Germany.

I collect monkeys. I once paid 247.50 on Ebay for a stuffed monkey like the one I had when I was a child.

Salt and pepper shakers. I have over 60 pairs. My faves are grinning little red devils, and a pair of owls that have fake diamonds in their eyes.
