So my now former best friend likes and may potentially go out with my ex. Not just any ex he was my first love my first everything. We broke up maybe 2 and a half yrs ago. Im not jealous i dont want him back. I just dont really feel its right that she go out with him considering what he and I had together. If she does go out with him this would be her first boyfriend. What should i tell her?

If anyone has had a FIRST LOVE then they would know how i feel. Your first love is different than just any other ordinary ex.He still means something to me you know.... And no im not trying to tell her what to do thats up to her.

its not right if your friend is going to go out with your ex then she is not a real friend. you need to let both of them know your feelings and tell them how it hurts you. hope this helps

You gave up any rights to him when you ended the relationship 2 and a half years ago. If your friend wants to date him then she shouldnt be made to feel like she is doing the wrong thing just because you don't like the idea.
You say you arent jealous but in my opinion you think that if you cant have him then neither should she.
Move on...

if you were in you bestfriend's shoes what do you think will you want? it's difficult to choose between friends and a more than friend. support your bestfriends after all she is your friend right? and they are not yet together, who knows it will not work out between them either. in this case you'll not lose a friends over a guy. that's so lame, i guess. and if they do, be happy for them even if you want to slap your own face by doing so. look for a better guy than your ex. probably that would ease yourself and get it over sooner.

Mm, I dont see anything wrong with it, sorry.
People are akways going on about how ou shouldn't date friends ex's, but I think thats bull. They could be the one for you, so who cares if your friend got to them first and it idnt work out?
And if you dislike her now, even less of a deal. Ifyou dont like her now because she is going to, you arn't a very good friend.
And you shouldn't tell her anything. She can figure things out on her own.

If you aren't jealous, then what's the problem? If may not have worked out between the two of you, but it can work out between them.

i think ur best friend is really not ur best friend. she should not do like this. ask her politely not to do. she must preserve ur sentiments, and emotions. really, you have to face a bad time.
but dont worry and dont lose hope, god is on ur side.

eih i think you don't need to tell her anything because you broke up a long long time ago...and i think your friend should think about it and you don't need to confront her about it because she would think that you're jealous even you're not and your ex would think that you're still into him...
