i love the 80's what is your favorite 80's song and why?

My favorite 80's song would have to be Heaven by Bryan Adams. It was the first song I ever slow danced to. It was grade 7 and I had such a huge crush on the boy. It's a great memory!!

There are several really good songs; Rock the Casbah -the Clash, Hold On Loosely-38 Special, Don't Stop Believing-Journey, Just Between You and Me-April Wine... all good songs but my favorite is New Years Day by U2

I have a lot,but one of my favorites is The Riddle by Nik Kershaw.because I just love the guy! Also I was into Modern Talking,Wham,Madonna,Howard Jones,especially the song your life in one day...Thanks for asking this question :-)

There are way to many songs for me to pick a favorite. The 80's were different and unique. It's just to hard to pick one.

So many- but the first one that came to mind was Simple Minds "Don't Forget About Me". I'm not sure I got the title exactly correct. Yes, it was in the movie The Breakfast Club but it also had personal meaning.

God, there are sooooooo many. I would have to single out "Just Like Heaven" by the Cure. Maybe "Under Pressure" by Queen and David Bowie... not only does it sound great, the lyrics mean something.
