What year is it? What type of vehicle is it? Any additives you have added like Slick 50? Any special care you took to help it reach that mark? Any major problems throughout it's life?

96 Mercury Cougar Candy apple red. 124,000 miles on it and still going strong. Changed the oil on a regular basis, and a few tune ups....that's it.

It's a 21-year old classic Toyota MR-2 two-seater with 150,000 miles on it. I've driven the heck out of it and fixed whatever broke. Right now it's got a little oil leak and the cruise control's not working. I'm going to the cc fixed and live with the leak for now.

88 Buick Le Sabre w/ 160,000 miles on i6t. Nothing special other than change oil when due (still doesn't use any) and other regular maintenance. No additives except Tran X for trannie leak - it worked.. Also do not use tap water in radiator, and it works like a new one.

1998 Ford Fiesta 3-door 1250cc 98500 miles.
Regularly serviced by Ford main dealer. Very little "in town" driving - mostly 160 mile freeway journeys. No additives.

1997 Chevy Lumina. 184,000 miles. off lease buy at 28,000 mi. 89 octane fuel. 10w30 Castrol in winter-10w40 in summer.Marvel Mystery Oil at oil changes. Wal-Mart oil filters(they're Fram) 1 alternator replaced(100,000 mi). Front C.V.'s replaced. 1 fuel pump replaced(bad gas). 1 serpentine belt(I damaged it).Original spark plugs. Original exhaust. 1 Wal- Mart battery. Ball Joints replaced at 170,000 miles. 1 water pump (replaced at 120,000 mi). 1 transmission fluid change. Not bad for an American made car. Had a Lumina before this one too(totaled at 160,000).
Just keep your fluids all checked- I do mine every Saturday. Replace those filters(they're so darn cheap!) Check your tire pressure often. Look your car over and under for anything that doesn't look right-and take care of it then before it fails!

2004 Honda Element AWD EX in Sunset Orange pearl, and it has about 45,000 miles on it. I just bought it back in September---and haven't done anything in particular to it, and have yet to have any problems with it. It's the best vehicle I've ever owned!!

2002 jeep grand cherokee laredo. 60k miles. I always add 1 qt of marvel Mystery oil (MMO) to the engine oil. It works great and prevents sludge and varnish buildup. Also 4 oz of MMO in the fuel.Ok for gas as well as diesel.

I have a 94 Buick Century has 130,000 mi on it. I just changed oil in it every 3,000, air filter every 9,000 mi, plugs and wires every 30,000 mi. I don't believe in oil additives.
