I have been married for 12 years to a guy who is 2-1/2 years younger than me. Age is really irrelevant the older you get. I was 21 when we got married and he was only 19. Good Luck!

Not really,I dated a few younger guys. I used 2 date a guy that was 19 n I'm 24 but it didn't work out becuz he was way 2 immature. I only TALKED to this one guy he was 17 but he was so distinguished and wise beyond his years but becuz of his age I didn't want 2 go any further beside friendship. But like my mom always says:' U can mode a younger guys 2 become what u want them 2 b but the older ones who r set in their ways will try n mode u.'

I dated a guy a year younger than me when I was a junior. He had a ball when his friends found out he had an older girlfriend.
Since then as an adult, I have had several younger men in my life.
Nothing wrong with it honey, as long as when you reach adulthood, you date an adult.

A year?! You must be young. When I was 25 I dated a 30 y/o woman and it was a lot of fun. If you are still in school, your friends might pick on you for it. If you really like the guy then go for it.

nope, there is nothing wrong with someone going out with someone else that is younger than them. unless of course the younger one is legally to young. ex. 24 year old and a 13 year old. otherwise who cares what anyone says as long as you're happy.

Whats weird about that?... I always went out with older chicks. And the benefit for you is that you get to be the boss! He may fight, but he'll love it, I'm sure he does... You just gotta be willing to show him new things... take the lead, teach him how to rock... He'll be like puddy in your hands, or a rock in your mouth (if you know what I mean)...

That all depends on your age. If you are over 18 and hes 17 yea might be a bit odd and possibly get you into trouble. but if that isn't the case then no its not weird.

No, age isn't an issue unless you make it one. One year is not a big difference at all. My hubby is 16 months younger than I am, and it has never been an issue.
