I know you are more fertile after giving birth as your cervix is not fully closed this helps the little swimmers get a really good start!
Don't know about a ceasarean though I've never had one x

Women are very fertile after having a baby. That is why most doctor's push birth control unless you are wanting them close together. The fact that breastfeeding will keep you from getting pregnant again is a rumor as well. Many women end up pregnant again because they believe it.

I know that after you have a miscarriage you can ovulate 14 days after and get pregnant again.

I know of 3 people that all found out they were pregnant again at their 6 week check up!! Imagine that.

I don't know why but i have always heard too that you are more fertile after a miscarriage and birth.

Yes i feel pregnant while breastfeeding when my son was 15 weeks old.
You are more fertile because a woman's body is made to reproduce and with all the hormones after a baby your body is ready to reproduce

Hi! Yes!!!! It took me a year and half to get pregnant with my first. And wouldn't you know it, I got pregnant again when my baby was five months old! I never thought it could happen so easily maybe because I had difficulty before. Beware if you have just had a baby and plan to wait a while until the next one, get some good bc! It happens, it happens, it happens!

Some women are right after they've given birth.. but some women it can take 2-6 weeks.. its because your hormones are leveling out, and your body can release more then 1 egg

I don't know the medical reason why, but I do know of instances where women have gotten pregnant not soon after delivering. It happened with my mother, my younger brother and I are only eleven months apart, so she had to have gotten pregnant not soon after (about a month) of having me. So be careful if you just have a baby. . .you are not immune to the "p" bug again!

Fertile Myrtle! You bet. All those hormones have your body in a tizzy. Be careful. You never know when it might release two or more eggs at once. It's confused.

It also takes time for the body to go back to its original shape and that includes your uterus and the cervix becoming tight again. Since it is more open it is easier for more sperm to get through to available eggs...and remember sperm can last a few days within the female body before the pH starts to kill them off.
