There are no conclusive and reliable studies available to the public to date on the extent of popularity of online photo products and services.

Inference from field observations and geographical resources may conclude that whilst such services are growing in demand due to the demographics of a gradual increase of wealth in South East Asia, the proximity and travel time required to enjoy such services are negated in part, especially around heavily built city centres.

Futher to travel time, logistics services supporting provision of finished photo products have not arrived at a stage where it can claim to rival or be equally in demand, as in the United States or in developed countries where traveling is not a stone throw away, although it would be a nice service addition for the mobility disadvantaged and a smaller proportion of communities living around inaccessible places.

A general picture of photo demand can be viewed from Global Information, Inc. and InfoTrends as provided. However, details are readily available.
