It's like having someone shove their ideas down your throat FORCEFULLY!!!!!! (emphasis on the forceful part) even if you don't like it. You have traditional old cultures where they become obsolete and you take away traditions that have been in different parts of nations for generations. You have the Philippine weavers in the mountains suffer because money makes the world move. Their dreams and traditions of making thing are gone down the drain just because recent trends attract the young like moths to a fire. this is happening everywhere... globalization is like the comet that killed the dinosaurs... except the dinosoars are the people who have no chance in understanding technology and money. The poor rural people will suffer the most.

I believe our pop culture highlights excess and I don't think that image of excess is so practical in other countries. People will skip essential building blocks for their life and security to fit the "Pop Image" and I think this creates the "I live in a shed but drive a BMW" man through out the world but even more so in ours.

We are born into cultures that meet our current spiritual needs.
Globalization is the family of Planet Earth.
(our family is just a little dysfunctional right now)
We will come together as one people, one culture, and even one race eventually. When we look into each others eyes and see.
