YES - PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE - when you talk to your children about their bodies and how they are THEIR bodies and how their private areas are THEIR private areas that no one should touch - PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let them know that this means other children shouldn't touch them either!!!!! I think we tend to lead our children into believing that we mean adults shouldn't touch them or do things to make them uncomfortable!
My 3 (now 4) year old was raped by a 10 year old neighbor - who confessed - and we are all in therapy. It never occurred to me that another CHILD would do something like this - lots of children explore, play doctor, etc and these things are normal but ONLY if their age differences are small - NEVER should it be OK for an older child to touch, penetrate or perform oral sex on a child more than 3 years younger. PLEASE PASS THIS INFO ON TO EVERY CHILD YOU KNOW - PLEASE!

You have to figure out what you want, and work to make it happen. It is not going to magically appear before you all wrapped up in pretty paper and shiny bows. You have to take charge of your future. You must determine that you will find a way to overcome any obstacle that is placed before you along the way. You must invest time, money, and energy in order to get what you want.
