YES!!! most recently?? well I let a coworker borrow a DVD of mine........and that was three months ago. About once a week she tells me how she has not had time to watch it and will return it soon..... Yeah right!! but like the first chick said at the top when I let someone borrow something I assume I wont be getting it back...that way there are no expectations and I wont be disappointed..........

Sure it bothers me, but I suppose I don't have much room to complain. I had a step brother who used to constantly borrow money and never pay it back. He never wanted much at a time, but it happened so often that it soon ran into a tidy sum. Well, one day I made up my mind I was going to collect. I went to his house, confronted him with the total amount he owed, listened to a hard luck story, and loaned him another $50.

Oh yes! Very much! I have this friend who borrowed my favourite Guess belt and never return it back to me until now! It has been 6 years now. I called her and ask her to return it to me and she didn't. How pathetic is that? I just hate it when I know I have something but it's not with me when I want to use it! Even that thing cost me $5! It's still mine and I want it back!!
And also another thing is my collection of DVDs. I have about 4 albums and my husband took them to his office for some video footage that he needs from the movie and never bring it back home. And now it's all scattered around with his colleagues. Errgghh!!!...

Yes,I was nice enough to let this girl borrow and listen to my tape of the choir song that we had to practice.I felt bad that she had been sick and missed out on the day it was all explained, but when I let her borrow my only tape she never gave it back to me,so I never got to listen to it.You can just imagine what happened to me the day we got up and sang in front of everybody.A year later she had the nerve to ask me to let her borrow my year book I was mad and of course I said no.I'm glad I don't have to see her anymore I couldn't stand her.

d most thing dat i hate is when someone borrows money & promise 2 pay back after awhile but then turns out 2 lie..
i did a favor 2 my neighbor's sister a few yrs back. she needed money so i lend her. then, its been 3 yrs & she never even bothered pay. so after that incident, i've told myself not 2 trust ppl..
but just few months back, my bro's bestfrend approached me 4 some cash. she said she needed money 4 school. so i told my bro 2 gave her some but not 2 expect that she'll return d money.
i wasnt wrong though. some ppl simply luv 2 use / abuse other ppl so b very careful in helping others.. we dnt really knw wat they're up to.

1. I learned that lesson early, as a child.
2. I don't lend anything. It's either a gift openly, or quietly with no expectation of return, because I know that person's track record of 'no-returns'.
3. If it is very valuable to me, I am honest and politely tell the person that I don't lend that item out to anyone, but tell them where they can get one like it. If they don't understand, that's the way it goes.
Good Luck and Warm Wishes.

Of course it does!!!!! I was in the ninth grade when it happened, we were about a month away from my term exams. This friend of mine had borrowed some notes from me that were crucial to the preparation for the exam .After a week had gone by,I began to ask for them back, politely. I was assured in the most sugar-coated tones that they would reach me soon.Another week passed by and it was nearing the end of the third week,no sign of my notes. My friend's selective amnesia had finally reached breaking point and I had finally elicited a confession from her that she had lost them in the first week itself and she was stalling the confession of her irresponsibilty until the end. I was livid!!!!!!
